Sameer Jain is the Founder and Principal of AnchorPeak Partners. He brings more than two decades of senior operating experience across complex, performance-driven organizations, having served in leadership roles spanning venture capital, hedge funds, fund administration, and impact investing.
He has served as CFO of an impact-focused venture capital firm and COO of a long-short equity hedge fund. He also held senior leadership roles within a global institutional fund administrator and an investment manager affiliated with an international nonprofit.
Across these roles, Sameer partnered closely with executives and leadership teams—operating in environments where decisions carried material consequences and sustained pressure was the norm. This experience provided direct insight into the internal demands placed on leaders navigating growth, risk, and consequential decisions.
That lived experience now informs his executive coaching practice.
His approach is further shaped by a deep, long-term commitment to disciplined self-development. Through many years of structured reflection, contemplative practices, intensive multi-day immersive retreats, and a sustained commitment to performance refinement, Sameer has built an integrated foundation for his work. This allows him to support leaders in strengthening awareness, refining judgment, and executing with clarity and stability under pressure.
Sameer has completed the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute's (BECI) Executive Coaching and Leadership Intensive, offered in affiliation with UC Berkeley, and is progressing toward final certification. He holds a BS in Psychology and a BA in Economics from UC Davis, and is a licensed CPA in the State of California.
